Term and Conditions

Terms and Conditions; Booking a tour is not like booking a Villa, Hotels, Resorts or in term of payment and cancellation system. Please look and read carefully to accept these terms and conditions as your references before deciding to book a tour with us.

Booking Procedures and Payment Methods

  • Due to record all the booking history easily, all the booking should be done directly to our reservation address:
  • We request DOWN PAYMENT right after you decided to proceed to the next booking step/procedure.
  • As you done down payment procedure, your booking status is officially 100% confirmed.

Recommended Payment Method

  • Suggested deposit payment is via; Bank Transfer Wise, Revolute and we are sorry for not accept Credit Card.
  • The amount of the transfer fees (BANK ADMINISTRATION FEES) is not included in the total of payment, but they will be charged automatically by the bank to the sender.
  • The rest of payment is flexible (can be done one day before the tour or upon arrival at the first meeting), before starting the tour is a MUST for all our tours.
  • Please let us know immediately after transferred the payment to our account by sending us proof of payment. Regarding to differences policies among the banks, some of the bank transfers will reach our local bank account within at least 4 business days. Once we receive your payment, all the final booking details and confirmation will be sent to you within 24 hours ‘’due to different time zone’’.
  • Please kindly recheck all the final booking details and confirmation after you receive it and let us know if you find something wrong/something not clear in the details and confirmation that you receive.
  • Port clearance is a must for all the boat tours managed by Komodo Home Tour. Therefore, we need all the members’ copies of the passport.
  • The tour prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), Euro, Dollar, GBP, and all the rates will be based on the latest currency.

Entrance Fees at Komodo National Park

  • The entrance fees around the park should be paid in IDR to the park authorities once you arrive in Rinca island, Komodo island, Padar. And all the tickets are valid only for one day.
  • In addition to the visitor fees, the boat must pay entrance fees depend on type and size of the boat. The port clearance depend on boat’s load capacity must be obtained with the port authorities.
  • We use total transparency on Komodo National Park Tickets, we suggest you bring about Rp 500.000/person/day to cover national park fees.

The park tickets are variative depend on the number of people in the group, activity done, days of the week, nationality, etc. Our representative will be there to help you in the process, to avoid problems with park authorities.

Entrance fees on working days (Monday to Saturday):

  • Entrance fee: Rp IDR. 150.000/person/day
  • Ranger fee: Rp IDR. 200.000/group (1 – 5 people)
  • Government tax/Retribution: Rp 100.000/person/day
  • Wildlife observing: Rp IDR 10.000/person/day.
  • Trekking-hiking-climbing: Rp IDR 5.000/person/day.
  • Snorkelling activity: Rp IDR 65.000/person/day

Entrance fees on Weekend (Sunday and other public holidays):

  • Entrance fee: Rp IDR. 225.000/person/day
  • Ranger fee: Rp IDR. 200.000/group (1 – 5 people)
  • Wildlife observing: Rp IDR 10.000/person/day.
  • Trekking-hiking-climbing: Rp IDR 5.000/person/day.
  • Snorkelling activity: Rp IDR 65.000/person/day.

Please note that these fees may change at any time without any advance information from the park, and we will not be responsible for eventual changing. 

Some spots out of the above entrance fee (out of park areas) have their own entrance fees too and are also valid for one person/day at a maximum of IDR 100.000/person/day. Some spots on the islands are difficult to be reached out by the boat because of low tide or the beach is too flat (shallow). In this condition, you may start snorkelling or swimming from the boat led by our guide. But if you don’t, you may pay for the boat taxi provided by the local people from the village at Rp IDR 30.000 – up for one person in 2 ways.

Entrance Fees at Kelimutu National Park

Entrance fees on working days (Monday to Saturday):

  • 150.000/person/day
  • Weekend (Sunday and other Public Holidays): 225.000/person/day

Several local objects on Flores Island (East to West/West to East) do not provide an official ticket from the Local Government; this is what we call donation which you will pay at the minimum IDR. 25.000/pax/object. Some local objects also require a local guide/ranger even though you are walking with our guide.

 

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Your payment is nonrefundable by the following conditions:

  • Once you book a tour, from that moment 100% confirmed, means that all components in the tour are confirmed, prepared, paid, and fixed for your tour.
  • If you cancel your booking for any reason, meanwhile you have done a down payment at least 15 days before the tour began, your payment is nonrefundable. This is done because we have paid to all those components.
  • If you cancel your booking while you have done 100% the total cost in the last minutes while the tour has not been started yet, your payment will be 10% refundable from the total cost.

Refunding all your payment is not an easy decision to take while you are still doing a tour (still on tour with us), therefore, we will take any investigation to the cancellation reasons before we consider putting any compensation or not.

Use of Boat Tour – Boat Policy

The pictures of the boat that we sent to you are the boat that you will use for your tour. We cannot change the boat at the last minute before you see the boat. Due to all the boats have their own schedule for the tour.

  • If there are any changes to the boat due to an unexpected technical mistake (engine collapse or engine in trouble, we will notify you to change to another boat as soon as possible, we do this for safety reasons during the tour.
  • If the boat engine is collapse or broken while you are on tour, we will try our best to soon change to another similar boat.
  • If you are planning to hold an event, such as a beach party which involved a larger number of people on the boat or if you are planning to use the Property for a purpose other than holiday, please communicate this during correspondence, as special approval or arrangements may be required.

Bank & Money Changer

Money changers are limited to some regions only. Every single town on Flores has some local banks that provide ATM services. It is possible to do withdrawing some money by using an ATM debit card. Most of the hotels, restaurants, mini markets are only possible to be paid in cash and only a few of them are accepting payment by credit card. Bear in mind that Indonesian local bank policy on every bank and ATMs are different and may occur on the limitation of withdrawing, please make sure you have enough cash prepared for the tour.

Age Restriction

There is no age restriction for all our tours if you get the chance and if you are allowed to travel by your country and the airport where you get a boarding pass.

Travel Insurance

You are highly recommended to kindly take and bring any of your own travel insurances with you before and during your traveling to our region.

Complaints and Irregularities | Terms and Conditions

Every attempt is made for you to have a happy, satisfied, and enjoyable during the tour.
If you have a problem during the tour, please kindly inform one of our representatives on the spot immediately who will endeavour to put things right.

Should our representative on the spot not address your problem satisfactorily, please contact Home Komodo Tour. For your complaint to be addressed, you must communicate any problem while you are on the spot. If no complaint is reported during the tour, Home Komodo Tour will assume that the tour is on the right way.

We have our right to reject to take any action on perceived irregularities submitted to Home Komodo Tour 24 hours after finishing the tour and you have returned home.
